We got together Wednesday afternoon for some initial post-election reaction:

Although he was in denial about a lot of things, John Nichols does hit it on the nose when he called the Butler campaign “fiercely inept.”

Oh, and toward the end of the first segment my last comment to Nichols (mic problems again) was something along the lines of “I’m going to be a bit charitable today, you guys got trounced last night and no one likes a bully.”Yeah, the entire show was a lot like that…

So, Gableman only won because Wisconsin is filled with simple-minded racists that only believe what they see on tv?

Thank God for those brilliant people in Enlightened Madison or we’d never know how worthless we really are.

Think if McCain beats Obama we’ll have to hear how racist we are all over again?

Jesus, they may as well just call it “The John Nichols Show.” What a freakin’ jerk. Mayers needs to grow a spine and tell that disillusioned idiot to shut the hell up and let other people talk.

Don’t you just love it? Nichols has it pegged as racist. Ah, John- NRA members accounted for about 100 thousand votes for Gableman and it had nothing to do with race. Take a look at his rulings( I know it is hard John) and you might just gain some insight as to why the NRA sent 200 thousand post cards to members throughout the state endorsing Gableman! Might be the time to consider replacing this arrogant fool with a thinking liberal. Oops- that’s an oximoron.
