If you don’t like the results of a competition, try to change the rules, I guess.

State Representative Frederick P. Kessler (D-Milwaukee) is calling on Governor Doyle to include in any future Special Session call a constitutional amendment that gives the governor appointment authority for Justices of the Supreme Court.

“I was extremely disappointed with the result of the election of the Supreme Court yesterday.”

I bet you were, Fred. I bet you were.

Let’s cancel all elections and put me in charge.

This may be the mandatory “Wisconsin History” I had in 4th grade speaking…but didn’t “Fighting Bob” La Follette institute direct elections on the party level (aka the Open Primary), and go to DC to fight for direct elections of United States Senators? And weren’t these seen as one of the surviving legacies of the “Progressive Era?”

    Guess what’s “progressive” has progressed…

State Representative Frederick P. Kessler (D-Milwaukee) is calling on Governor Doyle to include in any future Special Session call a constitutional amendment that gives the governor authority to overturn that interception against the Giants in overtime, and require the Super Bowl to be replayed with the Packers in it, in Lambeau, and I get some good tickets to the Super Bowl, and the weather has to be nice, but not too nice, and I get a really good parking spot.

    That should be all.

Looks like Fred the Red is back on his meds.

Kudos to the above post by Jones.

Is this the new democracy I’m hearing about? The great unwashed have chosen a candidate that the left didn’t like because we are stupid and racist.

Please - you don’t hear all this whining when a conservative loses. Butler was just a bad candidate who lost the other election he was in also. What was supposed to make this one different?

The arrogance of Kessler is enough to make me cough fur balls. Just one more slice of the “loaf” of a free people to be done away with. Gee Fred- thanks you piece of —-! Crap like this leaves me wondering why conservatives do not have more followers.
