Election Recap
April 2nd, 2008
It’s late, and I have a lot of work ahead of me this week. But let me do my best to put my thoughts together…
It’s not easy to sit here in the wee hours after an election and admit that my private predictions were wrong.
But I’m man enough to do it.
Before the polls closed I thought Scott Walker would win reelection but wouldn’t exceed 53 percent of the vote. I thought Judge Mike Gableman would lose a squeaker in the Supreme Court Race, and I feared that Jill Didier would be just shy of victory in her bid for Mayor of Wauwatosa.
I was wrong…
Oh, well…I can live with it.
PS. I expect tomorrow we’ll hear from many how voters were ‘duped,’ how voters are ‘dumb’ and/or how disappointed people are in the ‘lack of reasoning’ of voters.
You know what you call people who make those claims (whines)?
Losers.

You stay classy, Fraley. There is more than one way to be a loser.
